Floral Birthday Card

Hello Again,  Wonders will never cease,  I found time to make a card.  The stamp I used was from Chocolate Baroque Stamp of the Month and they really are so pretty.
I started by using an 8 X 8 card and matted it with navy paper,  before using white card that I embossed with the dots folder.  Then came to layers picking the colours of the distress inks that I used in my stamped piece.  I stamped on to watercolour card and then using my chosen selection of inks I blended and spritzed away until I was happy with the outcome. then using perfect pearls I highlighted the full piece, before adding the triple navy organza ribbon bow, and using the beautiful stamps from Sincerely Yours  by Phill Martin.  Really pleased with this card and enjoyed my playtime too.  Last Thursday I had the most enjoyable day with Annie and Astrid,  so I have put a picture below my post.   We really did get down and dirty as well as a cutting die session too.  Annie provided the most delicious lunch finished of by Date and Nut truffles made by Astrid.

Christmas Card Club. Challenge 4 is Icicles

Hello my lovely Friends and Followers.
 Hope you are all well and taking care of yourselves during this really depressing weather.  Last week was beautiful even if it was a tad chilly,  but this week has been mostly rain and wind again. When will it all end.
However,  on a brighter note this weeks challenge over at our Christmas Card Club was chosen by the lovely Kate who really makes the most wonderful cards.  She chose Icicles and of course my mind went blank,  so this is my card complete with icy icicles from stickles. The little winter scene was from Heartfelt Creations a few years ago and I still love it now.  The background papers were from Bo Bunny and so my card was finished.  Please pay a visit to the others and who all make lovely cards.  Anyone wanting to get ahead with this years cards can get in touch with me or any other members that are displayed on my side bar.  It really is a lovely way to get your cards all finished in time.   Hugs Rita xxx

Wedding Card

Hello Everyone.  Another beautiful day, long may it continue.  Spring is on its way as the flowers are showing themselves again and the garden birds are coming around to feed after the cold weather.
Carolyn asked if I would make a Wedding card for Neils cousin who is being married in Cameron House Hotel at Loch Lomond and this is what I have I done so far. As most of you know I love my wedding cards to be white on white , but thought that daisies might be a change from my usual roses or gardenias. Still not sure about the foliage though, but still got time to produce another.  Never used to doubt myself like this, but probably being away for a bit has done this.  Off to bake a few fruit loaves now and prepare the dinner.  Hope you All have a Lovely Weekend what ever your doing.  Hugs Rita xxx

Christmas Card Club Challenge 3. Texture

Hello Everyone,  Sorry to be so late with this card. The card was made ok, but my PC had to go to the doctor and a new hard drive with windows 7 had to be bought to replace it, got it back ok today, but i'll need to go back to school I think to find my way around.  Hopefully I can put my card up to show you the texture that our member Rachel chose for this challenge.  please bear with me while I find out how do things on this new computer.  Keep Well and Safe Everybody.  Love & Hugs Rita xxx
