Fairy Fantasie Canvas

Well, It did not turn out as I had imagined, but hey ho I'll let you see it anyway. I became hooked on Imagination Products last year and this is the first canvas using mostly Imagination products, the stencils are all so beautiful so my selection has grown a bit since then.  Love the Starlight Paints, but still got a good few to collect along with Sparkle Medium and stamps.  So far I have yet to purchase inks,  but I will buy some next month at the SECC in Glasgow.   The little fairy was from a stencil that I did in Gold Sparkle Medium and fussy cut it, adding some little roses ro give a bit of depth. the Fairy Door is another stencil all done with Imagination structure paste, a delight to work with too, Once dried I used starlight paints the circles were a stencil too and I outlined them with a pencil, The Art-Cutz used on the corners were so easy to use and gave the canvas a bit of dimension  The light today is awful as its wet and miserable here, lights have been on All day. It really is more colourful than the picture shows,  but if the weather is better tomorrow I'll change it.  Great fun to make even though it wasn't what I had in my head.  Lots of Hugs to Everyone.   See you Soon.  Rita xxxxx.

Anniversary Card

Hello my Friends and Lovely Followers.   The best made plans of Mice and Men, Gang aft aglae.
Anyway, I finished a card in time for my eldest Grandchild Garry and his lovely wife Jennifer.  It is their 2nd Wedding Anniversary tomorrow, where, oh where have the years gone.  Anyway, I used a pearlescent card for this one and cut an angle on the front with a Sue Wilson die.  Then using my new Imagination Stencils and Sparkle Medium paints proceeded to create the front of my card, finished off with a few tiny bows and a sentiment.   I'm so in love with both the stencils and paints I started a canvas too.  So spending some me time up in my craft room today, . and thoroughly enjoying it too.  So watch this space, although I intend to make my next CCC challenge card as it's due on Sunday.  Sending Hugs and I dearly hope you are all well.  Rita xxx

CCC Challenge 2 Theme North Star or Stars

Hi Folks, So sorry I got delayed yesterday and made a complete mess of my first card, so had to start again this morning.
The CCC theme for this fortnight was chosen by the lovely Maureen, This one was made using a Cream blank card and layered with musical papers and gold card.  The stamp was one I have used a lot over the years and is from Crafty Individuals,.I used perfect medium to stamp and added Stuart Gill embossing powder in Midas, my favourite gold of all time.   With the addition of a gold ribbon bow my card was finished.  I really need to get better organized this year as I seem to be in some kind of time warp.  Never mind Spring will soon be here and hopefully give us something to smile about.  Thank You All for bearing with me as I nearly gave up.  Had a lovely day yesterday with Carolyn and Molly as I don't see them very often during the school term.  I feel much better than I did, just need to give myself a good shake.  Hugs Rita xxxxx

CCC 2017 Challenge1

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Everyone.
Not the best end to the year for us but thankfully we have got through it and feeling much better now.
Sorry to have missed last weeks challenge,  but I was still struggling a bit with energy levels and tiredness. So here is the card I started and didn't get finished,  It was the Lovely Margaret who chose the theme for this one. It didn't turn out as well as I expected it too, but Hey Ho I managed to do a card after all. I really dont like to miss the CCC and it helps so much when the end of the year comes again and our cards are all ready.  I used white glitter card and printed a Thomas Kinkade picture from one of Joanna Sheens CDs on to acetate and layered it on.  I really wanted to frame it, but it did not happen.  Hope you like my first card of 2017.  Trust that your are all keeping well and keeping warm as this awful virus is one of the worst I have ever had.   Take Care  Hugs Rita xxx
