Bah Humbug Stencilled card

Hi All, Hope you have enjoyed this challenge from Bah Humbug as much as I have. I have never used this stencil before although I have had it in my for a few years. I used Spellbinders to matt and layer the BP is from Joanna Sheen Victorian Christmas and I edged with a gold leaf pen, I used Glittering Snow from Deco Art for my stencil and decorated the tree with stickles. 21st Birthday Card

Well, I needed a 21st card in a hurry and as I have not been well ,I decided to do a collage type card. The card itself is 8X8 hammered card and I have added some of Tim Holtz dies to add a bit of decency to the card. Like most young women to-day she loves Shoes and bags as you will have guessed. First Challenge Card of 2011

I never thought I'd get this one done to be honest as I am still pretty bad with this dashed virus. However, I am thrilled that I made it happen. Plain hammered white card and I stamped and cut out the Holly & the word Peace from 2 different sets of Sheena Douglas stamps. I used promarkers to colour in the holly and used tiny red gems for the berries.I then gave it a little height by using glue gel to lift it up a little so that it framed the word peace. Added the words of the christmas carol and my usual trade mark bow to finish. This card is for the Bah Humbug Challenge1 Holly or Fairies. Have a Great 2011 everybody. Hugs Rita xx

Happy New Year to All of You

Well, I'd just like to say that after a busy 3 weeks I have finally got time to Wish you all a Very Happy New Year and hope that we can all help each other in 2011. I still have a bit to do in my craft room before I start to my cards again, but hopefully before the end of the week when all the challenges restart.
