"Shop till you Drop"

I'm doing this to-night very quickly as I have a very busy day to-morrow with hospital appts and dental appts. Plus my motherly duties. This was a birthday card I was asked to make for a young woman who loves Handbags and Shoes. The card is an "8X8" Easel card. Male 60th Birthday card.

Hi folks, a lovely sunny morning here in Scotland, makes a change from all the wind and rain we've had in the last few weeks. I was asked to make a card and wallet for a man's 60th birthday( not my favourite cards ). However, I set to the task and this is what I did. I crackled a piece of mount board then stamped and distressed it ,added a few bits and pieces and here is the finished card, the man had no hobbies, so I did not really follow a theme. Hugs Rita xxxx

Cream & Silver wedding card

This is a wedding card and matching bag that I was asked to do in Silver & Cream. The invitations were done in those colours so that is why the choice of card. Silver Wedding Card

Hi Folks, not got a lot of time this last week as we have been tending to my oldest daughter who went through an operation on her right elbow and its now out of action for 6 weeks. Her husband works away so I'm only on at night a wee while ,but hopefully I get to answer all the posts. My card for this week's challenge is a Silver wedding card. I taped and glittered the edges of the card and put the stamped/embossed image on to silver card. Maybe not left enough white space for this one. Hope you all have an enjoyable week-end. Butterflies

Here is my card for this weeks challenge at Less is More. The theme was Butterflies, but my 2 best stamps are out on loan, so its sod's law for me this week. Using a Marieanne frame I laid it off centre so that I could use my butterfly punch on the sides of my card, I did this on 3 different colours of card, lilac, deep pink and the top layer is white. Then I stamped my butterfly flourishes and added one of my favourite sentiments, added a few bits of bling and finished my card. The rain has not stopped to-day in Ayrshire, in fact I think the whole of Scotland has had its fair share of rain to-day. Enjoy your week-end anyway whatever your doing. Hugs Rita xxx

Die cut Birthday Card

Hi Folks, from a sunny Scotland. My card for to-day is an 8"x8"Easel Birthday card. It was made very quickly using dies from Marieanne, and the border was a MS punch. I used Lilac & Mauve cardstock for most of it, with corners distressed with milled lavender. The little flowers were a small punch that i've had for years. Catch of the Day

Hi Folks, I don't know where time goes quite honestly. My card for to-day is from Thomas Kinkade CD rom by Joanna Sheen. I was asked to do an 8"x 8" card with wallet and the theme was to be Fishing,and this is what I came up with. The keep net was originally from a fat ball that we give to the birds, so I washed it and boy did it come in handy. Lots more cards to make & create so I better get moving. LIM Challenge 15. Embossing.

Good Afternoon Limettes. Just finished my second card after making a right mess of the first one,finished the card ok, and then put the sentiment on upside down. So here is another card. Tried to used dry embossing and heat embossing ,but not sure it worked. Single layer cards I find hard, as I like to add gems etc, but I sat on my hands to-day and not added a thing. Hugs Rita xx

Birthday Card

This is the Birthday card I made for my daughter's birthday yesterday. I always try to do something different as her own creations are wonderful. I can now tell you ,she loved what I've done. Recycled Card

Hi everyone, well, here I am at last .a little later than usual,but I made it. My card for this weeks challenge at Bah-Humbug is a bit of both as I used green leather look card as my base and added some holographic card in red and green. I used a card from a few years ago as I loved the look on the reindeer's face and of course his enormous red nose. The sentiment was also from an old card. I did enjoy this challenge as it made a change from stamping. Hugs Rita xxx.

White on White for LIM

Hi Everyone, another week has passed, aren't they flying in. Hopefully your still enjoying some sunshine too. Anyway, my card for this week at LIM Challenge is White on White, so I chose to do a special wedding card that I need for July. 50th Birthday Card

My card to-day is for a Mum who loves Cats and Flowers. The card is 8X8 so its pretty large and gave me lots of scope to work on. After matting and layering the beautiful cat image from JNM collection CD,I added corners from Marieanne and distressed them with both colours that I've used throughout the card. I added some flowers and of course a bow just to make it special. I have still to make a bag and money wallet to match. Thank-You for taking at look at my card. Hugs Rita xxx
