Butterflies

Here is my card for this weeks challenge at Less is More. The theme was Butterflies, but my 2 best stamps are out on loan, so its sod's law for me this week. Using a Marieanne frame I laid it off centre so that I could use my butterfly punch on the sides of my card, I did this on 3 different colours of card, lilac, deep pink and the top layer is white. Then I stamped my butterfly flourishes and added one of my favourite sentiments, added a few bits of bling and finished my card. The rain has not stopped to-day in Ayrshire, in fact I think the whole of Scotland has had its fair share of rain to-day. Enjoy your week-end anyway whatever your doing. Hugs Rita xxx

Great card Rita, love the layers of the butterflies. A nightmare for me this week as I don't like butterflies on cards, they never match up to the real thing.

Wow Rita - this is totally stunning! Love the off-set aperture and the punched butterflies. Beautiful sentiment too.

We have had quite a lot of rain in Yorkshire too, some high winds, and sunshine, so a bit of everything (except snow)! Hubby is happy as his allotment really needed some rain after the long dry spell.

Have a relaxing weekend - hugs, Sylvia xxx

Beautiful card Rita.
The After eight dispenser was found here;

http://scrapparazzisblogg.blogspot.com/search?q=after+eight

I adjusted the measurements a little, because the bottom turned out to be to big, and the lid also.So now I measured 7,8cm x 7,8 cm for the bottom. And for the lid I took 10,2cmx10.2cm and glued a punched piece of paper along it.
And ofcourse you can adjust the hight of the box also ( that's what I did ;-) its now 15 cm instead of 18. So all in all I almost had to re-design the whole box LOL.

hugs, Elly
