The CCC theme for this fortnight was chosen by the lovely Maureen, This one was made using a Cream blank card and layered with musical papers and gold card. The stamp was one I have used a lot over the years and is from Crafty Individuals,.I used perfect medium to stamp and added Stuart Gill embossing powder in Midas, my favourite gold of all time. With the addition of a gold ribbon bow my card was finished. I really need to get better organized this year as I seem to be in some kind of time warp. Never mind Spring will soon be here and hopefully give us something to smile about. Thank You All for bearing with me as I nearly gave up. Had a lovely day yesterday with Carolyn and Molly as I don't see them very often during the school term. I feel much better than I did, just need to give myself a good shake. Hugs Rita xxxxx

Hello there Rita, your card is beautiful, it's a super star image with a lovely background, your bow is gorgeous.
January and February can be difficult months to get through, we are both feeling it, not much get up and go just now, take care Kate x
I'm sure once the Spring weather is upon us we will all feel much more energised and upbeat Rita, I hope your feel the same.
A gorgeous card using these gold and cream tones.

Hi Rita, I had to smile, as that stamp very almost featured in one of my cards! But then I spotted another poor unused stamp. Love your card, so elegant.Hugs, Shaz XxX
Hi Rita,
what a very lovely card, and your design is fab.
I love your big north star in the center, and your gorgeous bow of course.
I too am finding it very hard to get all I want to done lately.
Love and big hugs winding their way to try and help.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
This is a wonderful Star themed card, Rita. Perfect for out theme this fortnight.
I like how the gold seems to frame the image and makes it take center stage!
I think I may have this stamp too...will have to check as I don't think I have inked mine yet...you have inspired me here!
Hope you continue to feel stronger each day. Hopefully we will have snowdrop bulbs pushing up through the earth and then we will know that Spring is very close.
Love the elements you've included on your wonderful Star Themed card. The gold embossing is very deep & rich in color, entirely perfect for a star. I also love the pink frame and the lush beautiful ribbon! Hope your week will go well. I must be in the same time warp as you...Just can't seem to get going even when I have plenty of time!!! TFS & Hugs
This is lovely and I'm singing along too. So glad you haven't given up on your crafting. I think we are all in the dumps at the moment. This weather is really getting to me and I hate Januarys. Hugs Mrs A.

Oh no Rita, please don't ever give up, your work is always so beautiful. I was doing some sorting and came across all of the cards you have sent me over the years and just sat there gazing in wonder at them, they are so beautiful and so very professional! Your card today is gorgeous, the star in the centre is beautiful and I always love your wonderful bows! Love this! Please take care my friend, you know where I am.... Big hugs to both of you. Anne xx
