CCC 2017 Challenge1

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Everyone.
Not the best end to the year for us but thankfully we have got through it and feeling much better now.
Sorry to have missed last weeks challenge,  but I was still struggling a bit with energy levels and tiredness. So here is the card I started and didn't get finished,  It was the Lovely Margaret who chose the theme for this one. It didn't turn out as well as I expected it too, but Hey Ho I managed to do a card after all. I really dont like to miss the CCC and it helps so much when the end of the year comes again and our cards are all ready.  I used white glitter card and printed a Thomas Kinkade picture from one of Joanna Sheens CDs on to acetate and layered it on.  I really wanted to frame it, but it did not happen.  Hope you like my first card of 2017.  Trust that your are all keeping well and keeping warm as this awful virus is one of the worst I have ever had.   Take Care  Hugs Rita xxx

Hi Rita,
thank you for your wonderful comment on my efforts.
Your card is adorable, and I love the wonderful scene and the glotery snow.
I had that cold before Christmas, and it sure does knock the stuffing out of us.
I do hope this New Year brings loads of good health.
Lots of crafty love. jenny L.

Thought I'd left a previous comment, but not seeing, so I'll try once again (well, I was late getting around also). I LOVE your Kincaid winter cottage scene. The print is very shimmering, and even more so with the glitter background. Adding the dimensional trees added so much detail and dimension, so I think it is quite a lovely card! Cool that you were able to utilize a CD and do such a beautiful scene too! Hope that 2017 brings a healthier year for ya'll, and I'm so glad you're feeling better now! Big Hugs and TFS
