Good Morning my favourite people. I made it into my craft room this morning, not fit to do any crafting yet, but hopefully I'm starting to make a recovery of sorts. Last Thursday I felt not bad at all apart from the awful cough, so I had a visit from my lovely daughter Annie and her son Garry & Jennifer his partner and it really cheered my up. So I thought I would wash my hair and try to make myself respectable again, so far so good. About 8 o'clock that night I felt the most awful pain in my back and by the middle of the night it was getting unbearable, so we phoned the Doctor in the morning and went down, at this point I could only shuffle along because of the pain. So the out come was I was bordering on pleurisy and my lungs were not working the way they should, so I got steroids to help clear it up and antibiotics for the cough. The pain is not so bad now and its clearing I hope ,but the cough is still bad, so at least you don't have to see or hear me. Thank-You all for the good wishes left on Annie's blog and of course to you all who have left messages for me here. My grand-daughter Molly was 10 the day after her brother Hamish and this was her Birthday memo book/card. My dear friend Elizabeth who I hope to meet up with soon first showed me the one she made and of course I had to try it. I used 5 empty toilet rolls to start with and painted the insides with white acrylic paint and flattened through my GC. I decorated with lovely papers and made tags for each holder using pictures over the years. It certainly was a fun thing to do and Molly loved it. I made a little bag so she can look after it. It was made at the beginning of December ( thank goodness I was organised) . Please take care of yourselves as we never know what's around the corner. Hugs to everyone. Rita xxxxx

What a wonderful gift, I have also not made it into crafting yet this year and very little blogging having put my back out 10 days ago. I am now able to move about and even went out with friends on Saturday night to bring in the New Year belatedly. Hope you continue on your road to recovery. xx Flora

Hi Rita, so sorry to read of your illness - having had pleurisy a couple of times myself I know just how debilitating it can be. I hope your recovery will be speedy so we can meet up again soon :) The little album is gorgeous and making a bag to keep it in is a brilliant idea - I wish I had thought of that for the one I made my wee granddaughter. After the year you have just had, I wish you a happy, prosperous and healthy 2013. Elizabeth xx
Oh Rita how awful for you, but at least you now know it was more than just flu and can get prpper treatment. hopefully you'll be on the mend soon.
What a lovely book and one that Molly will treasure. lots of love and work put into it. Take care of yourself, kate x
Dear Rita
What an awful time you have had and worse the fact that you were feeling slightly better and then had that set back. You must take it easy, try not and overdo things too much.
This is a delight! So different and I have no doubt it made Molly feel so special.
Wishes
Lynne
What a gorgeous creation Rita and so lucky you had made it in advance. Sorry you have been so poorly. Thankfully you should start to feel better soon. So lucky that you went to the doctor when you did. Keep warm.

What a fantastic book/card Rita. Love the idea of using up loo rolls for a far more interesting and decorative purpose. Bet Molly will be thrilled with it. Hugs, Jenny x
