Christmas Card Club Challenge 7. Emboss or Stencil is the theme

Hello Everyone,  At last I managed to get my computer and printer up and running.  My card was made, but my printer died and of course I had to get a new one, this led to all sorts of problems, my keyboard wouldn't work and I spent the afternoon trying to sort it out, no luck. Over dinner I said to Andrew and he changed the batteries in the Keyboard and here I am at 8.30 putting up my challenge card. Sorry for the delay Carol.
I used a Barbara Gray stencil for my card and Imagination Sparkle Medium in gold shine. I mounted it on to a piece of deep red card to make a frame finished off with a die cut sentiment and a Gold poinsettia from the Ribbon Girls.  Now I think an early night beckons as I recorded the New Series of The Durrells, so I could get my challenge completed.  Sorry to say I could not comment on your blogs for over a week.  Hugs Rita xxx

Oh this is just so elegant. Your stenciling is perfection and looks very lush in the gold over the deep rich red. (and no apologies to me if you are late or MIA. I'm always in the same boat, sometimes Life just takes priority and I'm ok with that!) Hope you & Andrew are doing well, and so glad you got the computer woes sorted. So aggravating, but it does happen. TFS & Hugs

Such a gorgeous card Rita, I love that deep red you used. So glad you got your new printer set up ok, I saw the post you put up on FB and knew you were getting a different one and good Andrew was there to help with the keybiard. Why is it when one thing goes wrong you end up with a catalogue of difficulties? Still you got your beautiful card published at last.
Have a great week.

Hi Rita,
so sorry to hear about your printer.
I have 2 now as I dread one breaking down, so there is always a back up printer.
I have a continuous ink printer which I invested in last year, but sadly it doesn't take every type of card so I use my other one for the things that won't print on that one.
We must have our craft toys mustn't we.

Love your fab stenciled card for your Christmas Club, and that poinsettia is super and gorgeous.
Great designing as always.
I do hope you and your family are all keeping well.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
