However, on to the Christmas Card Club Challenge 14 that was chosen by the lovely Lorraine and she wanted Snowmen, sorry I misinterpreted as Snowman, sorry Lorraine. This was a piece of Cross-stitch from many years ago and I thought I should make it into a card. After matting on to the gold mirri card, my mind went blank and I could not think what to do with it. So it is all layers and a die cuts to finish it off. I need to try and pick myself up again and start crafting, I have been knitting a 3ply Vogue sweater for Carolyn's Christmas and it really is slow going, but I should be okay time wise. Once again I thank you for your patience in bearing with me whilst I tended my friend the best way I could and that was being there with her until the end. Be back soon. Hugs Rita xxxx

Super little cross stitched snowman Rita. I only did one snowman too, but I'm sure it doesn't really matter a bit. Keep your chin up. It's a very sad time but youwill get threough it but things will obv=iously not be the same anymore. Loving thoughts, Christine xxx

There was no misinterpretation at all Rita, you can have one snowman or many, it's all good so long as you enjoyed it. So glad you are feeling more able to craft and as Margaret said above, it is very therapeutic and healing for you at this sad time. Take care,

Rita, the stitched snowie is lovely, and the presentation is even more so! Love the soft glimmer and piercing of the mat piece behind him. (I only had one snowman too!). You have been on an emotional roller coaster of late, so you will need time to find calm & serenity. Everyone understands. I know quite how you feel as I too had a loss this year, and still can't believe she has gone, but as you say at least there suffering is over now.
