Birthday Card
Hell again. This time its a Birthday Card I was asked to do, and its a long time since I have done any decoupage. Sadly your work never shows up very well in a picture, but it was loved. Starting to get a wee bitty excited now as the Glasgow Hobbycrafts show starts this week and I,m meeting Kate on Friday, I know we are both going to check out Imagination Crafts and of course we will see some demonstrations too. This will be my first show without my friend Jan to accompany me , but I'm sure she will be with me in spirit. Been doing some Christmas gifts and its helping me get back into crafting again. Another sunny and warm day for October too, washing all out and nearly dry. Maybe I'll iron or Maybe not. Hugs to you All. Rita xxxx

I can imagine how lovely that decoupage is for real, shame pictures don't always do justice to our cards. You are having more luck with the weather than here in the south west!
A beautiful floral decoupage Rita, it's a shame when the camera doesn't always catch it's beauty but the recipient will treasure it.

Beautiful card Rita as it the Clematis, xxx
A really gorgeous card Rita. Enjoy the craft show. I was going to go to the NEC in Birmingham but my heart isn't in it still yet.

Hi Rita,
what a very beautiful Birthday card, and the dcoupaged flowers are so pretty.
Love that super lace also.
Great colour choices too.
I took the plunge and ordered some imagination crafts starlight paints, and do you know they turned up the very next day from their website.
I was so impressed with such service, and if you spend £25 the postage is free.
Enjoy the weekend, and Kate's company.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Super card Rita and the colours are great. Hopr you and Kate have a great day at SECC. I'm giving the NEC a miss this time. It's only a few weeks since I met Ang at Kenilworth for the Great British Craft Festival and hopefully we will be meeting up again at the Motorcycle Museum in early December. Hugs Christine xx
This is beautiful Rita, I still love doing decoupage. Hope you and Kate have a fab time on Friday...and yes I'm sure Jan will be with you in spirit. Carol x
A beautiful card Rita with that gorgeous collection of flowers on it. Your clematis is doing so well for the time of year, I'm loathe to do my Autumn clear up as all my fuchsias still have lots of flowers on them and the grass is still growing well. Enjoy the craft show, nothing like a bit of crafty retail therapy and meeting up with crafty friends xxx
Hello my friend, this is a stunning card, beautifully put together with those super flowers!!
I know going to the SECC will be bittersweet for you without your dear friend, but I hope you will have a wonderful time even so!! Sorry I have been a bit AWOL as far as visiting your blog is concerned, but life just always seems to get in the way.... xxxxx
