Now into March and we ladies at the CCC are on to Challenge 5 and Zoe wanted to see Non -Traditional cards or off the wall cards. Well, I'm afraid my card for this challenge was done a week ago and I have done a sepia coloured card with words. As I had a busy week I did not have time to change it. Hope this card fits the challenge Zoe. The stamps were from Artistic Outpost set called Midwinter. Layered up with Cream and Gold card , the top layer was dark brown . I then added the stamped images along with a hessian border with gold pearls from Imagination Just Pearls in Gold, they are so easy to use and they keep the high gloss like a pearl would. A tiny bow finished my card for Zoe's Challenge.
Last Monday I had an enjoyable day over with my daughter Annie and our dear friend Astrid McLean , we had fun trying out out annies new Oxcide Inks by Tim Holz. Annie kept us supplied with tea and coffee and a first class lunch too.
On Thursday Kate Currie and I met up in Glasgow and enjoyed a great day out at SECC , it was quite a tiring day for both of us , but we enjoyed every minute as its very rare for me to go out for a full day, so all in all I had a good week.

So enjoyed the lovely pictures of these beautiful ladies. So lucky you were to meet up with Kate and then have fun with these new inks. (I'm waiting on an order!) I love your beautiful card (and you met the challenge with the non-traditional colors too!) It's got loads of interesting motifs and texture, and I love the design layout. So glad you had a good time with good friends who can enjoy the same hobby! TFS &Hugs

Love your card Rita...a lovely take on the theme, and what gorgeous layers too. Sounds like a busy but enjoyable week...love the oxides - what did you think of them? Spill the beans on your purchases please...I've seen what Kate got! Carol x
Lovely card. Thank you for sharing the photos.
Hi Rita,
oh what a gorgeous card, and love that vintage look.
Those stamps are wonderful, and lend themselves to a vintage scene so wonderfully.
Super design also.
Oh it looks like you had a lovely week as well.
I too don't get out much these days, and get jittery when I do.
To think I used to go out on my own all over the place even on trains and busses, but I have no confidence to do it now.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Gorgeous neutral card with two of my favourite stamps of all time! Lovely to see all your photos too - glad to see you and Annie and Astrid are all still playing nicely together!
