Christmas Card Club. Challenge 1. Theme is Using Craft Card.

Well Ladies here we are in January 2021 for our first challenge of the year. Well I have used Craft card for my base card and then stamped and die cut Poinsettias from craft card as well. I matted a piece of paper to that I added a piece of hessian ribbon then attached a large and a small poinsettia. Finished it off with a die cut and sentiment.  Just put my Christmas decorations and tree away yesterday , well Annie and her lovely husband did it for me. Hope you all enjoyed the festive season even though it was under strict instructions to stay at home. Happy to say all my family including myself did just that. Hoping now we have a vaccine it will make us all feel safer and give the wonderful NHS staff a much earned rest. Hugs Rita xxx-

You've made a lovely card using kraft card and I love the monochrome effect with the kraft flowers and embellishments as well. Here's hoping 2021 will be a lot nicer than 2020.

Hi Rita, what a stunning card, I love the black and white teamed with the Kraft card, and that poinsettia is gorgeous, beautiful background too.
Our lights on one of the trees in the garden are giving up, no point in putting new batteries in as everything will be coming down within the next couple of days. I always think the living room looks bare once everything comes down, keep safe, Kate x

Love the non-traditional colors of this beauty. I would never have thought to cut the poinsettias from the DP, but it's a gorgeous effect against the vintage colors behind it, as well as the texture of the burlap ribbon. Such a elegant look too with the design layout. Happy New Year, TFS & Hugs too. Mary H.

This is really pretty. I would not think to put blue with kraft card. I can see I need to revise my feelings towards using kraft card. Happy New Year wishes to you. Keep safe and well. Hugs Mrs A.
