Double Easel Card

Hello Again Folks.  Would you believe its snowing here , but its very fine and probably won't last.  To-days card is one I made for my 2 oldest Grand-Daughters to give to their Gran & Papa on Tuesday for their Diamond Wedding.  It is becoming harder to do something different, or maybe its just me. However, I decided on a double easel card since it was from the two girls.  The papers I used are from American Crafts ' Spring Feast ' pad, and they are absolutely stunning and a pleasure to work with.  I cut two Spellbinders Lace doily motifs and they fitted perfectly for my 4" squares. The image I've had for ages and use it often, so maybe you have seen it before. I then added the sentiments along with some little roses to make the easel stand.  I had to make a matching box as it was too deep for an envelope. I need to make more flowers as my flower box is empty again, so that will keep me busy to-day. Still got some chores to finish first though.  Hope you all have a lovely week-end whatever your doing.   Hugs Rita xxx

Hello Rita, this is the prettiest card that I believe I have ever seen, and the love that you put into making it shines out. You're a sweetheart. 60 years of marriage . . . that is wonderful, not many people live to see that.
At the moment I have a Give-Away on my blog, and I would be honored to have you come visit and put your name in the hat. Your blogging sister, Connie :)
