Christmas Card Club Challenge 2. The Real Reason for the Season.

Hello Everyone.  I have been really busy and needed to take some time out.   Between the cold and orders and sewing garments,  I dug a big hole for myself,  so far I have not fell in.    However, I'm back with a card for the CCC Challenge 2 that was chosen by the lovely Christine one of my buddies on the group.   The theme  she chose was  ' The Real Reason for the Season'  and lo and behold I could not find my  stamp/nativity set,  hunted high and low but it never showed up.   So my card to day is from  theJoanna Sheen CDRom  called Enchanted Christmas.   I do love Angels and of course Christmas trees, so that is what I have used.

Hoping Andrew's operation goes ahead on Wednesday,  as he wants to attend our first Grandson's Wedding on the 31st.   We have a lightweight wheelchair at the ready  so he can get there and move about.   Back to my sewing machine and then I have cards to make.  I'll keep you posted as to how things are progressing.
 Keep Safe and Warm.
 Hugs Rita .
PS.  Another of my bears for you to meet at foot of my post. x  Getting broody again. x

This is another of my favourite bears  designed and made by me.  He was a big guy and his name is Smooch.

Beautiful card Rita! How often does that happen? You know you have something but you can never lay your hands on it when you want it! I do it all the time. Still, your angel makes up for it. I have this CD but never even look at CD's now. Must drag them out. Finger's crossed for Andrew's op! Hugs Christine xx

A beautiful card and a really gorgeous bear just waiting for a cuddle!
I will be keeping everything crossed that all goes well this week for you and the long awaited op goes ahead. Could I just say if you use the wheelchair for your husband do have a warm blanket on hand to keep his feet and legs warm. I know from experience just how cold you can get sitting in a wheelchair even if it is just for a little while.

Your tiny angel is so beautiful as the medallion on this folded card; her sweet face just glows. Loved the way you used the die cut to trim down the side. Of course I am in love with Smooch. He looks so huggable! Good luck with Andrew's surgery. Pray that all of it goes just as it should, and recovery will be speedy. Take care, and don't forget to give yourself a bit of TLC amidst all this hustle & bustle. TFS & Hugs

The card is charming, Rita, but I'm afraid Smooch is stealing the show for me. He's just wonderful! How I envy you bringing these woolly characters to life.
