Christmas Card Club. Challenge 23. Feature a Post-Box

Hello My Friends and Followers.      Like most of you I am deeply saddened by the recent events in Paris.   People enjoying themselves and all of a sudden their lives have ended.   So many are still critically injured too and my heart goes out to all the relatives.
However the challenge for CCC is a Post-Box and was chosen by the lovely Mrs A.    This months Card Inspirations saved my skin as I have no post box stamps,  so the beautiful papers and toppers came as a free gift with the magazine.  I did add some glitter and a bow and so this is my finished card.    Please pop over over and see what the others have done as I'm sure there will be some beautiful cards.  The names are on my side bar.    Still multi-tasking with my projects and hoping they all come together before Christmas.   Take Care Everyone.    Hugs Rita xxxxx

It certainly was a terrible atrocity in Paris, my heart goes out to the families too. How sad that 30 people remain un-identified too....

Your postbox card is beautiful and I love the checkerboard background too. I still have not started my Christmas cards, I think it will be bought ones for most people again this year....sigh. Hugs, Anne xx

It's lovely & festive. Love the postboxes from your part of the world. Ours in the USA look much different! That red really grabs the eye, and what fun that you got it as a magazine freebie. Loved the layout arrangement of all the pretties on the front, and wasn't sure if the tiny holly swirls in the corners were dies or part of the DP design. Whatever, it's lovely. TFS & Hugs

Hi Rita,
yes a very sad weekend indeed.
I am having kittens as my Son is going to France on business on Wednesday.
I do hope his firm cancels.
Wonderful card and very super design as always.
I do hope Andrew is continuing to improve.
Love and big hugs from my house to yours.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Wow. your card is a delight. How fortunate that the magazine had a freebie just right for today. I must be clairvoyant. Lol. Such terrible loss of lives. Almost incomprehensible to understand that such wickedness exists all around us.
Hugs Mrs A.

Dear Rita
There is such a lovely nostalgic feel to your card and it is, as all your cards are, so elegant.
I hope you are both well. Your words are so true, I feel the same and just cannot begin to comprehend this atrocity and all the others which are occurring far too frequently.
Wishes
Lynne

There's nothing like a traditional red post box - they're festive all by themselves, especially covered with snow as here! Terrific card.

Still finding it hard to process the events of last week... truly horrific.
