Happy New Year

Hello Everyone.   I Dearly hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas and a really good start to welcome in the New Year.  In all the years of blogging I think last year must have been my worst ever.  I'll not bore you again with the details, but hopefully for me I can wipe the slate clean and make a fresh start.
Not really done anything much since Christmas apart from a good clearing up of lots of things that had been badly neglected. However, I have caught up with most things and today I have given my Craft room a good going over too, still the walk in cupboard to sort and that will be a mahoosive task, good job the door is closed.
I thought you might like to see the Aran Sweaters I knitted for my Son-in-Law Neil and Molly and Hamish.

 Molly's in Khaki

Neils in French Navy

Hamish in Olive Green

Hope to be back creating in the next few Days if Mr Mojo shows up for his appointment.
Take Care All of You and Hopefully all are safe from the effects of flooding.  Hugs Rita xxx

Happy New Year Rita! wishing you and your family health and happiness for 2016. Gorgeous Aran sweaters. I have to do some more clearing up and cleaning out as well. I've neglected things over the last couple of years. I have some big bags to go to the charity shop. The thing is I come back with more stuff than I take!! LOL!
Take care, hugs to you and Andrew, Flo xx

Good morning Rita! I do hope this new year is kinder to you and that I just love those sweaters. I have just purchased a set of knitting needles and hoping to learn the process of knit and purl...we will see! I'm sure it will be a long time before I can make a sweater, if ever!

Happy New Year to you both Rita, and what wonderful sweaters. I love the pattern and the colours, they look so cosy.
I knitted Alistair socks and he felt they were a bit too big, so knowing that if you boil wool it will shrink he proceeded to do just that, what happened was that they got even bigger and are now in the bin. He was so annoyed with himself and colouldn't understand why they had'nt shrunk, not pure wool said I, poor man was trying to save my feelings by not telling me they were too big. I just laughed and said thank goodness for M&S, take care Kate x

Rita, you always astonish me with your huge talent - but I guess you know that already! The sweaters are incredible, the colours are beautiful and I love the patterns. Well done for doing some sorting too, I have started but doubt I will ever finish..... Happy New Year to you and Andrew from both of us, hope 2016 is the best ever for you! Hugs, Anne xx

Oh! Rita these sweaters all look so warm and cosy, how clever are you to have the patience to knit what to me looks a very complicated cable pattern. My Mum was an excellent knitter but try as she might she never quite managed to get me to get past simple squares with a few holes here and there where I had dropped the stiches. Horses for courses so they say!wishing you a Happy New Year. Mo xx

Beautiful sweaters Rita, is there no end to your talents! I have never quite mastered the art of knitting Aran. I know they will be appreciated by your family, especially as the weather is set to turn colder lol! Wishing you and your lovely family all good wishes for 2016. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving me a lovely comment, much appreciated.

What gorgeous sweaters Rita! They look very warm and cozy. Thanks for visiting me today, I've had a few computer issues so haven't been about much - having to catch time on hubby's laptop as and when I can.
