Christmas Card Club. Challenge 2. The True Meaning of Christmas.

Good Morning Everyone. The weather here in Scotland this week has been Beautiful, lots of Sunshine, but very fresh and cold. Snowdrops are starting to show their little white heads, so Spring is on its way.  Our CCC this time has been chosen by the lovely Christine and she would like to see on our cards The True Meaning of Christmas. So when I was youngster my favourite Hymn was Away in a Manger and it still remains one of my favourite’s favourites. So I have made two cards using the same stamp. The first one is 8 X8 and was made stamped on white card . The second one I thought maybe would be nice on blue card embossed with silver, and I used a stencil to do some stars in the sky, but I think it’s just a bit overdone, but I decided to go ahead and make a card. So Thank You Christine for choosing this theme.  Hope you are all still taking care and looking after yourselves. Hugs Rita xxxx

Two beautiful cards, Rita. I don't think the second is overdone at all, though I do understand why you think so. We have had lots of blue skies and sunshine this week, but, oh my, it's been freezing too. Hugs xx

Wow, I know both Margaret and Christine have said the same but 'how different these two cards look using the same stamp'! Lovely designs.
