First Card of 2012

Well, I finally made a card, just into my second week of physio, but I felt I could try my hand at making a card. Its an 8x8 and the dies had been cut previous to my accident, so I stamped and distressed  the card using Inkylicious Stamps " Spring Awakening and Summer Morn that I recently purchased. added the dies and a few flowers and  this is my finished creation. I feel so happy just to be able to do something at last. Pink Christmas

Well now, I never in my life thought I'd make a Pink Christmas card, but being addicted to challenges, I thought I'd try and this is the outcome. Its a new fold for this card too, thanks to my friend at Nanny Gee's Place. Using a LBC stamp I coloured the image with promarkers and matted and layered it on to pink card. using silver glitter card on the main fold and pink paper and peel-offs for the sides I finished my card. French Vintage Wine

Hi Folks, Well, I am still trying to catch up with my cardmaking and thought that a little vintage therapy might cheer me up, and it did. My card to-day is 8X8 ivory hammered card to which I added green leather look card and then added paper that I stamped and distressed with TH inks. Next I used a CB script folder,then added most of my French Vintage Stamps by Creative Expressions,I cut out and distressed them too, to which I added a few leaves just as a finishing touch. Took me ages but I enjoyed making it. I appreciate all your comments. Hugs Rita xxx

Bookworm

Well, Where will I start, I tried to change my blog and lost over 2 years work, but I have dusted myself down as they say, and started all over again. I hope you will all bear with me while I try to rebuild my blog again. To cheer myself I up I will put on my first card and hopefully you will like what I,ve done.
