Thank-You
Just a quick post to say Thank-you to everyone for the lovely cards and Birthday Wishes that have been sent to me for my 73rd Birthday to-day. I will post a picture to-morrow of all my cards etc. I'm enjoying my day, but worrying too about the floods on the East coast where our younger daughter and family stay. Here is a picture sent a few hours ago to my phone. Haddington. East Lothian taken this morning after the banks of the river Tyne burst. I pray that they stay safe and anyone else who has flooding to-day. Speak to you All soon. Hugs Rita xx

Rita, I will be keeping you in my thoughts. I was watching News 24 and noticed that Edinburgh and surrounding areas had been hit badly. Do take good care and keep safe. At the moment Perth is obviously very wet but thankfully we appear to be safe from flooding but of course it all changes so quickly.
I hope you are able to enjoy yourself despite the conditions.

My goodness what a mess, hope Carolyn and the family stay dry. It absolutely tipped it down here for most of the night but it's dry this morning so hopefully things won't get any worse.

It got a bit worrying here is Staffordshire too for a while yesterday but thankfully that passed. Let's keep everything crossed that it does with everyone in Scotland and the South/South West too.

Hi Rita, Happy Birthday ... how did I miss that! I didn't realise it was so bad over Haddington way ... it looks terrible in the photo ...
