Now, if you think I am way out of my comfort zone , you would most certainly be right. I had such fun making this tag and I followed Tim's tutorial to the letter, but as I've only started my collection of all things Tim, so I hope he won't mind that I've used what I had in my stash to create my Tag for September 2012. I used the alcohol inks in Denim, Terracotta and Butterscotch to add the colour to the metal and what a lovely surprise when I saw the colours mixed to-gether. At this point I really didn't want to use the steel wool to sand it down, but I did and here is the result. My nib was one of TH stamps that I stamped and rusted a little bit to make it look aged. Most of the pieces I used under the metal sheets were a pull ring, chinese coins, and a supersize paper clip. I think I have covered most of how I made my Tag. I hope you will give this technique a try as its so much fun watching it all come to-gether. Enjoy your day.

Love your tag Rita,great details.xxx
Hi Rita, this is a fabulous take on Tim's tag and I am sure he will love your improvisation. I was worried at first too and way out of my comfort zone but I loved doing mine too - I think he just wants us to stretch the boundaries a bit. Funny how a few people have said they did not want to use the wire wool on theirs either, it did seem a bit of a shame to take the shine off but the result is fabulous. Love it. Crafty hugs, Anne x

Hi Rita,
super, super, super, tag. You are so adventurous, with your lovely creations. This is stunning. I haven't got any of these items you have used. Must try and buy when I have the pennies, but with being on a pension you have limit what you can buy, and I quite often have to buy the basics that I run out of. If you know what I mean.
Have a wonderful crafty Thursday everyone.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
