Sweet Violets

Hello my friendly bloggers.  Hopefully you are having beautiful sunshine, its so hot to-day ,but I dare not complain.  Doesn't it make such a difference when the weather is so nice, the garden is blooming and the washing gets dried
Anyway, enough of my ramblings and on to my card. It started out because I made some of Susan Tierney Cockburn's  Pansy and Violets.  Very small to work with ,but I loved making them and that's what matters.  So when they were finished of course I really had to make a card.
Its a 6 X 6 pre-scored card  and I created a border with the Tonic studio daisy punch.  I matted on the BP in a lovely lavender print ( no idea where I bought it ),  as it was to be a Thank-You card I wanted to keep it plain, so I only used the window die and some gems.  Thank-you so much for the lovely comments you always leave on my posts.   I'm off to sit in the garden with my afternoon coffee.   Hugs Rita xx

This is a beautiful card Rita. You are doing such a great job creating flowers with Susan's garden flower dies. Enjoy the afternoon sunshine - we seem to be in the rainy season.

What a delicious card, Rita. The window frame is so pretty, and the flowers look amazing! Not been hot enough for me today - too chilly for reading in the garden, in any case... so I'm slightly envious!

Wonderful card Rita and those flowers look amazing! Love that window die too and how you have arranged the flowers over and around it with the sentiment.

I hear Annie may be home soon and that Ronnie is doing much better, that is all fantastic news!

The sun was shining here too today, I feel like a different person!

Hi Rita,
another of your really superb cards. I love those pansies they look so real. Fabulous design as always.
I hope you enjoyed your coffee in the sunshine. Isn't it just the best to relax outside, and enjoy the fruits of your gardening. My magnolia tree blossomed for the first time this year. I am soooooooo pleased about it as I bought it form a boot fair and was beginning to think I had been conned.
Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Dear Rita
Your flowers are always so astonishingly beautiful and realistic, you always manage to fool me!
The colours are so elegant.
A stunning creation.
It is a lovely day here although I am tucked up inside - the sun isn't my best friend lol.
Wishes to you
