Thank-You card.

Hello my friends, I was going to start off my post and apologise for being AWOL, but then I thought, probably everyone else was making the most of this glorious weather too.  We have to make the most of it while it lasts.   My card to-day is another one for my box. I coloured the image ages ago and it really was in the maybe bin. The Sarah Kay image was coloured with promarkers ...... I think I like my pencils better.   and cut with Floral Ovals die. The card itself was a stepper card from the Hougie book and was very simple to make.  I used an embossing folder for the backing on the main part and with the addition of a couple of sentiments my card was finished.
I'm getting so excited now as Annie and Ronnie are on the first part of their journey home and I'll see them to-morrow.   Its been a long month.   Hugs Rita xx

Good evening Rita,
A really pretty card with lovely sentiments.
We had a wonderful morning but as usual we had rain by 4.30 very sharp showers. We now have some weak sunshine.

Weather feels like it's already turned again here in Hertfordshire, sadly... hoping Stratford upon Avon might be better! Lovely to hear that Annie and Ronnie are homeward bound - thank goodness.
And last but certainly not least, the card... I collected Sarah Kay stickers as a kid, so definitely have a soft spot for them - delicious colouring, and the step card with the sentiments looks great!

Wonderful card Rita and I simply adore that Sarah Kay stamp. You coloured it beautifully I think.
I bet you are so excited to see Annie and Ronnie again soon, I've been on that ferry often and it's actually wonderful, they do a great buffet supper and have very comfortable cabins. Here the weather has turned, so back to "normal" I guess....
Enjoy tomorrow to the full!
Hugs and lots of greetings to Annie when you see her!!

Good Morning Rita
This is an adorable creation. You never cease to amaze me with the way that a card is never "ordinary" when it is created by you. Also this is so beautifully coloured.
Annie has been in my mind this weekend. Yes, a sigh of relief from you when you know they are back home and Ronnie will be surrounded by love to help him on his road to recovery.
Please send Annie my love.
Wishes
Lynne

Hi Rita,
beautiful card, with such a pretty image. Love the stepper part and design. Fabulous sentiments too.
I was about to buy the Hougie Board and my GC broke down it needs a new handle. So dear and lovely hubby has bought me a Electric embosser. Whoopee can't wait. So now the Hougie goes on the back burner for a while.
So glad your family will soon be home and fairly close again.
Here' hoping your Son in Law makes a very speedy recovery.
Enjoy the sunshine while you can dear friend.
Have a wonderful crafty rest of the weekend.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
