After my disappointment on Thursday that to-day's class with Anna Dabrowska had been cancelled I did not want to do anything.at all. I know ( how childish ) Yesterday we had a visit from my lovely daughter Annie and she produced a lovely present of a large Gelli Plate for me. I was over the moon to say the least. We do tend to surprise each other with crafty things now and again, but this one I was gob-smacked.
So after all that I best show you my card. Its from a Hearfelt Creations stamp and I also bought the Spellbinders die to match, as it makes much easier to cut. The backing paper is from Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium and the papers are gorgeous. The holly is a Marianne die and again the small Merry Christmas is from Cheery Lynn. The 'Silent Night' stamp is also from Heartfelt Creations and it comes with theCandle set I used in my last card. So at least I,ve made a start now.
To-day I will be at my sewing machine as my Grand-daughter Julie starts a new job on Monday and her scrubs are a size to big. She is a dental nurse and of course everything has to fit properly. Gran to the rescue.
I hope you are all set to enjoy your weekend and do something nice. Hugs Rita xxxx

Sorry to hear you felt so flat Rita. Hopefully next week will help to cheer you up. Mind you, receiving a Gelli plate must also have helped considerably!! Enjoy playing with that. Love your Christmas card. Your friends and family are so lucky to receive such special cards each year. See you soon, hugs Jenny x

I know just how you feel about the class cancellation - not childish at all but a natural reaction I'd say. You've made a lovely angel card anyway - super. I'm sure you will have great fun with the gelli plate - look forward to seeing some of your work using it. Have a good weekend.
Beautiful card, Rita! I'm so sorry to hear that the work shop was cancelled. But, the Gelli plate sounds fun! Enjoy the weekend!

Oh wow Rita what a stunner this is!! Fantastic stamps and dies and you have put it together to perfection!
How wonderful you now have a Geli plate you lucky thing!! Can't wait to see what you will make with it.
I bet everybody booked in to the Glasgow classes will be so disappointed, including the ladies from Damselfly. I was in touch with Snazzys yesterday, but they have not heard anything about Finn cancelling so I am keeping my fingers crossed. But at least you have Tim to look forward to!
Hi Rita,
fabulous card. Love the stamp and dies too. A really great creation.
So sorry your class was cancelled, still you have it to look forward to when the lady in question is well again.
I have no idea what a Geli Plate is. I would love to know what it is. Excuse my ignorance.
Have a wonderful crafty weekend.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Beautiful Christmas card Rita, I like the angel the apers and the holly.

Wonderful use of the traditional Christmas colors Rita. Hugs!
Good morning to you too Rita, I hope you are well. I love your very traditional Christmas card, full of wonderful images and die cuts. And have fun using your gelli plate, you will be off using your paints and creating some fabulous backgrounds to use on future projects, it's a great gift from Annie.
Only three more sleeps, the build up is like waiting for Christmas to come.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Dear Rita
I am so thrilled that Annie gifted you with a Gelli Plate as I just know you will love it, I certainly love mine (6"x6") and the larger size will give you so much more scope.
This card radiates festive warmth, it is so beautiful.
