Christmas Star

Hello again my lovely friends in blogland.   Its been a busy old week here, but hey ho tomorrow is Friday again.   I'm busy doing some Christmassy things at present, but you'll need to be patient a little while longer.  I have a few card orders to complete.
Months ago I made this star and took it to the Tim Holtz workshop to show the girls.  I loved making them and they are so simple to make.  This is a Christmas one. and because I put beads on it it was a bit more difficult to close. I hope you like it and if I get time I'll do a 'How To' , because as I said before I'm not very good at tutorials.  All you need is scrap card cut into 3" x 3" squares, 5 pieces make up the star. a  small piece of narrow ribbon and a bead. I'm sure that children would love making these.  Time is not something I have much of at the moment, but at least I do get some crafting done in between other things.   So not complaining too much.   Warming Hugs to you All.   Rita xxxxx

This was an absolute gem to see in person Rita - incredibly ingenious and so effective. You need to do a tutorial for everyone when you get time and feel up to it. Huge hugs, Jenny x

This is beautiful Rita! I remember making loads of these two years ago, but I cannot for the life of me remember how I did them..... so a tutorial would be great if you find the time!

Love, love, love this Rita,
I know spare time is very short in your house at the moment.
I do hope you get time to show us what to do.
I have looked and looked but just can't quite figure it out.

You might get tired of all the WOWs you're going to get on this one. I loved seeing it opened, but then when I saw the front...another WOW. I'll be waiting for the tutorial when you get time, but I hear you about the limited time availability ...feel as though I've been running a marathon all week. Faster I go, more behind do I get. But it's fun to take a break and see wonderful creations in Blogland. Stay warm, TFS & Hugs
