Gift Box and cards.

Hello to you all, another weekend is nearly over and although it has been rather nice to-day, I have just heard its to be a really cold night.  I'm certainly making my way back to normality after a week of not doing much at all.  I've now caught up with household chores and the washing etc, that's when I know I'm not well. I like them all done and dusted.
I did have this box started when I took the cold for a second time and now its complete, I thought you'd like to see it. It holds 5 cards that are all cut and envies made ,but have still to put the toppers on the front.
The tutorial for this box is from John Next Door and he does such beautiful creations that you can see here.  My box and cards are made in ivory cardstock and I distressed the edges with tea dye as the little roses were made to match and then dipped into the Melt Pot ( I used Annies Melt Pot for this )  I used the SB dies  Gold Elements One to cut the panels out.  It was really easy to put together and will make a lovely gift for someone.   Lace and Satin heart were from my stash.  Hope you are All enjoying a lovely weekend.
Hugs Rita xxxx

Gorgeous box Rita. A really beautiful idea for a gift.

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better.

Certainly cold here in coastal Aberdeenshire. I can see frost on our grass which has never shifted today in spite of being a beautiful sunny day.

Take care,

Kat x

So glad to hear you are feeling much improved & doing housework! (Spent yesterday playing catchup with those aggravating time wasters! - & trying to finish up today). I just discovered John Next Door, what a great blog. Didn't see a place to join as a follower though. I'm going back to read through those tutorials. Loved this box (no surprise that!). This S/B filigree die is one of my favorites. It's absolutely elegant in white the way you've used it, adding the taupe & cream lacey trim. Your silk dimensional heart was a perfect addition, and this is truly a beautiful creation. TFS & hugs

I have just this minute visited Annie to see her latest, amazing creation and now I visit you for another amazing creation before my eyes.
Such sheer elegance that is what this box is all about. The die is gorgeous.
So glad you are feeling more like yourself and managing to catch-up on chores, it is a good feeling isn't it knowing chores are up-to-date.

Lynne

Simply lovely, Rita - the delicate die-cutting is gorgeous with just that tiny hint of colour - so elegant. And the dipped flowers look amazing. Do hope that you manage to combat the cold... I think housework is pretty much the LAST thing I do when I'm not feeling well, but nice to have it done!
