Birthday Card and my Shetland Vinstrik Lace Shawl

Good Morning folks.   Hope you all had a good weekend.   Today is sunny but cloudy at times.   However, I am doing the ironing today,  so it won't make that much difference.
Today,  I am sharing the card I made for Louise on her 23rd birthday,  and as she is an avid reader I made a bookmark to match the card.
After 3 months of knitting in the evening I finally finished my Shetland scarf last week,  it was a chart only pattern that was in the book of Shetland Lace that was a precious gift from my friend Jennie along with the Cobweb lace wool, Thank You Jennie.   As you can imaging it was like knitting with thread ,  and as with most Shetland lace it was very intricate too.   But I love it and now I am knitting socks ( boring after this beautiful lace ).
For now I am back to the ironing board and I'm on a mission to finish it before lunch.    Hope you are all managing time to craft and I will certainly try and keep up with all your posts.   It's a very true saying that ' Time doesn't stand Still.    Have a Good Week everyone.    Hugs Rita xxxx

Oh WOW oh WOW!!! Rita your shawl is stunning, it's so fine and the pattern is gorgeous. Louise's card is also gorgeous and that beautiful book mark with that wonderful sentiment is perfect for a reader.
My ironing pile is waiting for me to attack it, the downside of good weather the washing drys that quick?
