Vintage card

Good Morning Bloggers, I hope you have all had a lovely week-end  and found some time to do some crafting too.  I'm busy just now doing Christmas makes for the family and in between I'm creating some cards.  My card to-day is vintage as really its my favourite type of card, but not everyone enjoys vintage as much as I do.  I started out with an 8" x  8" card  and used a lovely backing paper from Creative Expressions, I added some lovely cream lace and a few pearls.  I rolled down one of the corners and using gold card I embossed it and added the baking parchment I used on my marianne die. The lovely girl image is from Crafty Individuals ,  but I'm blowed if I can find who did the script stamp. I distressed them both and added the rose that I made with a pale peach paper, the beautiful pins were a gift from my dear friend Elizabeth aka The Silver Scrapper.  I added a  silk ribbon bow just to finish it off.   Now I'm off to clear up a very untidy craft room.....      Thank-You all again for the lovely comments left on my blog and I do appreciate each and everyone of them.  Enjoy your Day.     Hugs Rita xxxxx

Beautiful Rita. I don't do vintage myself but I can still appreciate it and this is gorgeous. The rose is lovely - I am so useless at these. Christine xx

I'm a great fan of vintage too and this is so beautiful with lots of interesting elements. Brilliant use of the baking parchment too - always a shame to throw it away I think.

Stunning Rita. I wish I had this talent to design such gorgeous vintage cards. I really struggle with that. Did you cut the Marianne die cut using Parchment paper? I didn't understand that part. Your rose is fantastic. I just keep looking at this gorgeous card to see all the details. If I received this card, it would go into a frame to be displayed for everyone to see.
