The fortnightly challenge 14 over at the CCC was picked by Maureen where the theme she chose was Angels. I thought I would do a stepper card with an acetate cover for this one. The papers are from the Craftwork Cards pad called The Magic of Christmas. I cut and matted them on to gold mirri card from Hunkydory. The stamps and sentiment are all from Heartfelt Creations and I also used the matching SB die to cut them out. The gingham ribbon was made into a bow using a method shown by Christina of card-making -magic. The corner die is from Marianne and one that use a lot in my cards. Sorry about the picture, as I did try to get a picture with a plain background , but that did not work, so this one was taken on the dining room table and at least you can see it is acetate. Got lots of Birthdays this month too, so I better crack on and get some of them done, only a week to go before our hols too. Enjoy your Weekend , hopefully with some sunshine too. Hugs Rita xxxx

Christmas Card Club . Challenge 14 is Angels
Hi Everyone. Like most of you I don't know where the weeks/months have gone. Trying to have a catch up on household chores before we go through to our younger daughter Carolyns, where we house sit as we usually do, to let them go om holiday. I get to look after the chickens, and this year I will have the dog for company on my walks.

Hello Rita,
What a super card, love it, great design.
Might use your design for my Card Class, if you don't mind. The ladies were asking to do an acetate card.
Take it easy with the chores.
Hugs

Gorgeous card Rita. Acetate is always difficult to photograph but you have done a great job. The corner pieces are really effective. Talking about chickens, I have just spent the last hour scaring away a stoat. I think it is after the babies :(

Oh My! The angels DO appear to be flying on the acetate indeed (quoting Christine above). What a marvelous idea to do your stepper card this way. The angel stamp is lovely, and those gold corners are so rich looking. Loved your gingham ribbon too, and that's a wonderful bow. Enjoy your time away. TFS & Hugs.

Beautiful card that is so striking and so very different. Whoever receives this will ensure it is on display for a very, very long time.
Rita, I am working backwards from your newer posts to older so only now reading that you are house sitting along with the chickens and dog - enjoy this time away from home.
