A Day at the Trossachs with Good Company.

Hi Folks,   Hope you are all well and steadily crafting.   Lots of comforting Hugs for those who are suffering.
Well,  What a tonic I have been given this week,  spent in the company of my dear friends Anne & David.   We truly have crammed as much as is possible into this week so far.   Today has been wet with sunny intervals.   However,  I am going to let you see some of the pictures from our day on Thursday.    Annie was our driver for the day, we started out and headed for Luss as both Anne & David loved the series Take the High Road and most of it took place here,  after a lovely lunch we headed to Cameron House and really enjoyed our visit here,  lots of laughter after the four of us got stuck in the lift,  but we were released very quickly by a lovely manager.  After some well needed refreshments,  we headed for Balloch and took the Gartocharn road to Balmaha,  where we had dinner.   The sun shone brightly the whole day through and we arrived home tired and weary around 8.00pm.   These are a few of the pictures I took and I made Anne R a Tim Holtz bag which she was delighted with to say the least.  I really do feel so much better now and so does Andrew.   Aren't friends wonderful.   Thank-You to Annie for making this day happen.      Love & Hugs Rita xxxx

Lovely photos Rita and I'm glad to hear that you all had a wonderful time. The Timmy bag is wonderful and I'm not surprised that your friend was over the moon with it. A change is as good as a rest they say and this is certainly the case with having your visitors to cheer you up.

Hi Rita,
oh that bag is superb.
You are very clever, as I can't sew a straight line for toffee, and now I can't see to thread the needle of my machine.
My DH struggles also to thread it, so no hope of making one of these delightful creations.
I know there are sewing machines out there that thread a needle for you, but for the amount of time I would use it, it would be a rash purchase.
I am glad you have had a lovely week with your visitors.
Nothing like a good few days out with good friends, and a few laughs along the way to lift ones spirits.
Your photos of your day out look great.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

What a lovely bag, and you are a very super friend to make this for your sweet friend. I can easily see why she fell in love with it. So glad you & Andrew are feeling up to making what sounded like a wonderful trip. The names you wrote about sounded so magical & scenic. Enjoyed the pictures. Someone is a super photographer. It's one of the blessings of Blogging to learn about places so far away that I shall never see. TFS & Hugs too.
