However, on to the CCC challenge 10 , for this fortnight it was my turn to choose, and as I love wintry scenes of any kind it had to be a Village Scene for this one. I chose an image from Penny Parker that I love and used versamark ink and glittered it. The vellum Poinsettia was not one of my own and was from the lovely Sam on FB. The sentiment is from Sheena Douglas, another of my favourite artists. I really hope you enjoyed this one and if you have time please pop over and visit my colleagues whose names are on my sidebar.
Have a lovely week and I am looking forward to seeing two of my favourite people this week,

Hi Rita,
oh I love the fab design of this, and the wonderful shaped frame.
Beautiful glittery scene too.
Such a very clever choice for the Christmas Card Club, as I have seen some beauties today.

Love this snowy scene, it really fit in with your theme choice so beautifully. I could feel the cold and I've always wanted to take a ride like this in the snow. The mat shapes were perfect with the image, and loved the beautiful vellum poinsettia. Thanks for a great challenge theme...it was fun, once I found my stamp! TFS & Hugs. Have a great week.

Beautiful! Now why on earth did I not consider using one of my old CD's?! I must try harder to get my brain in gear. That is one beautiful card Rita, I will try to create another one, next time with one of my CD's so that it properly follows your theme. I really enjoyed playing though so please forgive me Karen x

So sorry I'm late in commenting. My Internet problems are consuming my life at the moment. To cap it all my iPad crashed this morning and took my IT specialist a talk through on the phone to get it working again. It's enough to drive you to drink. In fact sitting in the garden right now with a Pinot Grigio Blush. Very nice it is too. Anyway I digress. Your scene is a perfect glimpse of village life as it was in times gone past. Lovely. Thankyou for the super challenge. Hugs Mrs A.
Lovely and creative!
A beautiful and elegant card Rita. I always love your poinsettias. Jenny x
