Colour Burst Wall-Hanging

Hello Everyone.   The weather is more like winter than summer.  We have had Sun,  Rain and wind all on the one day, and it is very cold as well.   Here is a wall hanging I started when my dear friend Anne Redfern was visiting.  Now it is finished and it looks totally different from when I started it.  This was also my first attempt at using Ken Oliver Colour Burst powders  and the colours are magical.  Now I am waiting on his new colours arriving in the UK.
First of all I used my Colour Burst and then sprayed them with water and let them work, they change colour and it was amazing to watch the transformation.   Then, using stencils and Texture Paste ,  once again the colour came through the paste and left me with just some embellishments to add.   The butterflies were made with Martha Stewarts Air dried clay and after adding some more colour,  I used white fire treasured gold to highlight them.  The stamp was from Sheena Douglas  and the rub-ons were Tim Holtz.    This was fun to do and now I am on to my next project. xx
Thanks to Everyone for the lovely comments on my last post and I am looking forward to working on the Fiskarettes Design team.   They have a challenge blog running each month with fabulous prizes too.   Why not try it, details are on my sidebar.     Speak to you Soon.   Hugs Rita xxxx
