Anyway, here we are again another two weeks have passed since the CCC challenge and this time it is the choice of the lovely Carol, who chose a Santa themed card for this one.
My card is 7X7 and I cut an aperture out the front of the card before adding a lovely background paper. The image was one from my dear friend Astrid a few years ago and I do like it so much. I matted it on to mirri card and my poinsettia is made from vellum. I found loads of peel offs that had not seen the light of day for years and so I used them to make a border. My tag was made from a gift bag die and edged with a gold leaf pen.
I hope you are all well, and big Hugs for those who are ill or feeling down. The nights are drawing in now and maybe I will find some time to craft and comment. Hugs Rita xxx

This is beautiful Rita and I love this vintage Santa. I know exactly what you mean. I am not having much time for blogging or even crafting! And when I do have time I don't seem to have the ideas! Mr Mojo has gone walkabout I think. Hugs Christine xx

Hi Rita ...what a great Santa image and your tag looks fabulous.....great to use up peel offs I have draws full of them......xxxx
Rita, I know That Road you mention very well! Sometimes things just get ahead of us, and Life gets in the way too. Good for you at getting into quilting. It is just as addictive as rubber stamping. I wish I could think of ways to use all the collected fabric on cards as I don't quilt these days (nor sew either!). Love this super vintage image that you've used on this gorgeous card. The mirror gold shows up the details of the image so well. The gorgeous white & gold of the matting is just perfect with the Santa, as the lovely colors of that shows well against all the white. Well done. TFS & Happy Sunday. Hugs
WOW This is fabulous Rita! Love the Santa and poinsettia.

Hi Rita,
I know that road you mentioned too.
My mind is willing, but my body has other intentions, and won't provide me with enough energy to get my household matters, and craft dome in the 24 hours we have.
I need a 48 hour day to get it all sorted.
Love your Christmas Card Club creation.
that image is super, and you are very good with those peel offs.
My that vellum poinsettia is gorgeous.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
