21st Birthday Card

Well, we have another bleak day here in Scotland and it looks as if its here for the week-end too.  My card to-day is a Betty Boop birthday card .  Its 8X8 square and an Easel card too. I used the backing papers that matched the decoupage image and highlighted the image with silver glamour dust  ( it is there on all the feathers etc.) Lots of Bling on this one too. Like most of my large cards it comes with its own bag, made by myself.  Hope you are well and up to crafting to-day and those of you not so well please keep warm and safe.  Hugs Rita xxx.
Thank-you all for the lovely comments left on my blog, I always try to return the compliment.

I've not seen any Betty Boop images for such a long time - this is a brilliant card, lovely colours and those graded 'labels' just make it. A bit of blue sky here today but lots of clouds, showers and very cold. Roll on the summer when maybe we will be complaining of the heat.

Hi mammy this is a lovely card and will be treasured by the recipient. She loves Betty Boop and will be absolutely thrilled with this as part of her gift. I agree the graded labels really set this card off.

I hope I can find some time to craft tomorrow x x

Ooh La La Rita, I love Betty Boop, she reminds me of when I was a child growing up in Canada and was one of the first cartoons I ever watched. The card is so lovely and I like those nestability (?) dies you have used, they really set the picture off. Doing a bag is such a great idea - makes each card more special. Your friend, Anne x
