WOYWW Week 155

Another Wednesday and our day for a peek at other crafters work space, big or small  it doesn't matter as long as we're happy crafters.  If you go over to Julia at the Stamping Ground you will be able to join us every week.  Sorry I have been Awol the last 2 weeks Julia, but I did send my apologies.  However, I managed to get a picture of my desk as it is this week, one desk messy and the other one tidy, go on take your pick.  Had a lovely week and met up with a fellow WOYWWer last week Elizabeth from Silver Scrappers and we had lunch to-gether and a lovely chat. Trying hard to get into the swing of things again this week, but its slow going I can tell you. Hope you all have a lovely day.   Hugs Rita xxxx

Thank you for your lovely comments and support, Rita - it really helps. Mum was a special lady and I shall miss her.
Hey, why the pic of Stonehenge on your screen?? I live about 25 mins away from there - the countryside round about is fabulous. I'm hopefully meeting up with Elizabeth too in a couple of weeks when she's down on holiday - how lovely will that be??

Hello my lovely friend, it must be hard to get back into things, after having all that disruption with workmen etc. Your space always looks so tidy and organised to me! Love the pic of stonehenge on your computer. Hope you have a lovely day Rita and and that you are still having lovely sunshine. Crafty hugs, Anne x

You were missed Rita, glad to have you back....
Hey...don't worry if you're having trouble getting back into creating, I took 12 years to get back to it, but I know you'll soon be having fun, especially with the sun shining.
What a lovely idea meeting WOYWW in person. It sounds like you had a great time.
Happy WOYWW and thanks for popping by my place and leaving such a lovely comment. I really appreciate it ;D

Lovely attractive organised space there Rita. Glad to hear you met up with Elizabeth, how lovely. We WOYWWers don't do too badly at socialising, do we?
Re the air cans... I'll be adding a post all about it to my blog pretty soon. Keep an eye out!

I love that your messy desk is what I would call a tidy desk! Thank you for stopping by and visiting. You helped make a bad better.

Hi Mum. I wish my craft room was as tidy today. However, I am working on improving it with some storage and new worktops as my wonderful card table is so shaky everything falls off the shelf when I am distressing or die cutting. Crafty Hugs xxx

You will not believe this but I have always thought if you and Elizabeth could meet you would get on great. How strange that you have met! Sometimes I think I have psychic moments.
Love all the shots of your desk areas and glad you are back - you were missed but I know what it is like when work is being done.
Hope you are soon back to normal.

Hi Rita, just to let you know I've post about the alcohol inks and the iar cans on my blog! Have fun

Hello again Rita
No! I wouldn't leave cling film on the starch background technique. Just leave it long enough for the colours to get into the card. If you lift a corner you'll see how it's doing. You'll be pleased when you dry it after removing the cling film as the starch dries to a lovely glaze.

Lovely pics of your work space Rita. I am intrigued by the 'things' to the left of your computer with the white knobs, are they ink applicators? Have a great week.

What a lovely organised desk, Rita, and I love your desktop wallpaper! I love the area and was at school in Salisbury, and we went to Stonehenge quite a lot - when you could wander freely around the stones and nobody bothered you.

Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog - we adore Wollacombe. The first time we went was on a mid-week winter break, and the beach was absolutely deserted except for one man and his dog, and us! It was absolutely brilliant, and soooo windy! Standing on the cliffs at Morthoe, my anorak blew up like Mr. Michelin man and I thought I would take off! I adore the seaside in the winter.

We had a lovely day today, at the Exeter museum after its magnificent new refit. Glad you like my hubby's card - I was pleased with how it came out, despite the hours I spent in Inkscape getting the scroll banner just right!! I am pleased to say he likes it very much, which makes it all worth while!

Happy belated WOYWW,
