Christmas Card Club. Challenge 3. Heart Card

Good Morning Everyone.   Isn't this weather just awful.  So I have been crafting ,but not making cards, however I did make a card yesterday for the CCC  This is my first post since joining the Christmas Card Club.  Hopefully by December, I will have my cards nearly finished.     Mary has chosen the theme for February and it has to be a Heart or the Colour Red.  Well, I have chosen a heart and then stamped a winter scene from Artistic Outpost called Midwinter.  My card is 6 x 6 square and I used a holly mask to emboss the background.  The Hearts consist of a Silver one put through the Swiss dots folder and then I added a NS heart using black linen card. On top of that came the stamped image with added diamond chips to make it glitter. I used some Black Watch ribbon across my card and added a bow to the top. The sentiment was from the same stamp set.  Enjoy your Weekend.   Hugs Rita xxxx

Great idea to have the heart like a window frame and what a pretty scene it is too. Lovely card.

We finally have some sunshine today, so I am quite enjoying the beauty of the season - but yes, it's been hideous. How lovely to see your beautiful card - the heart frame works so perfectly - and be reminded of what winter can be like!

Have finally got a chance to sit down & enjoy visitin (and then blogger seems to take forever to bring up the blog sites!). It's been such fun seeing the interpretations of the heart or red. Now this is simply stunning. Lovin' that holly embossing with this gorgeous heart. That is a lovely winter scene in the lacey heart, and those pearls trimming the outer heart frame...oh my! The ribbon took this one right over the top. Lastly Warm Welcomes as a new member at CCC. I'm still a newbie myself but it's been fun. TFS & Hugs. So enjoyed seeing how you fit this one to the challenge!
