80th Birthday Card
Hi Folks, here we are at another Friday. At the start of every week I have so many plans, but seldom do I carry them out, and before you know it the week has gone. However, I did manage some time to craft in between other things. My card to-day was a commission for an 80th birthday card that was to be young and bright and with nice flowers. The card was 8 X 8 hammered card to which I added a background paper from Jane Shasky, 'From the Heart of the Garden' CD-rom. The centre-piece of this card was mostly Spellbinders Resplendant Rectangles in white and pink, the corners were a Marianne die that I distressed with Victorian Velvet and finished them off with a few pink pearls. I added a bow and some of my hand made Gardenia's. The matching bag was done in a similar way to the card. Hope you all have a great week-end and enjoy what you do. Hugs Rita xxx

Both are really gorgeous Rita. Gorgeous dies sweetie. I wish my customers would let me make larger cards, they all worry about postage and the cost of the card in the first place. Lol!!!

That's so pretty Brenda - I love all the die-cut frames layered together, and the flowers are just gorgeous! How lovely to have the bag too... wonderful work. And don't worry about the name thing - I'm surprised any of us get it right with all the visiting we do!!
