Hi Folks. What a lovely day we've had to-day. Really warm ,although a little bit windy at times, but its so nice to see and feel the sun.
To-day I am sharing a card I was asked to make for a 65th Birthday, it was requested that the theme was to be Classic or Vintage cars. Hopefully what I've done will suffice The image I have had since I started making cards and its came in so handy lots of time. I've decoupaged the card and added some vintage Automobile Association car badges . The matching wallet is in the same colours as the card. It was needed for this Friday, so a bit of a rush with this one I'm afraid. Need to tidy up my craft space now ,before I start again.

Great card and that is a wonderful vintage car image. Nice to see the old AA badges too - maybe I ought not to confess to remembering the AA man on his motorbike with sidecar and he would salute any members driving past.

Fabulous card Rita and I love the old AA badges. When I was a child I remember the AA patrol man and the AA phone boxes - I thought it was great that my dad actually had his own key for them! Those were the days! Love from Christine xx

Good evening Rita, an absolutely brilliant card, everything is just perfect for a 65 year old who like me will remember the AA man on his bike. Like Christine our dad had a key for the AA boxes ....... Oh! Happy days.

It's great, Rita ... with a central image that lovely, you couldn't go wrong, and you've framed it with the perfect background papers. Such a delightful idea to have those vintage AA badges as embellishments - lovely touch!

Another very special card Rita with so much attention to detail.
I actually have an original vintage AA badge. I say "I" but it is really my Dad's as it belonged to my Grandfather. It is such a perfect addition to your card.

Love the vintage car image Rita I can see why it has been used alot. The badges are a great addition and bring more nostalgia to the card, I am sure the recipient loves it.

Perfect masculine card. Love this image and what a delightful embellishment with the little compass. Great background papers, and admire the way you combined your plaid blues with the car theme dp. Looks wonderful. TFS
