Hello my dear blogging friends. I hope you are getting some sun where ever you are, as we in the West of Scotland don't have any today. Its dry, so that is something I suppose. To-day, my card was a commission for a 21st Birthday card. Its another 8 X 8 as I feel they look more special done in this size. My theme was pink and white as you can see. I used black card for the background and then layered it with pink paper from my stash, the white card was put through and embossing folder. I then added a strip of black to highlight, before adding the die cuts. To that I added a 21 that I blinged up with some gems and pearls before adding the black memory box swirls.
My bow was made using crushed silk ribbon and a diamante heart. It actually looks much better in situ so to speak as the light was too bright and it looks a bit ' skee wiff' I think. But it really is straight. Still got the Bag/Box to make.

I love your pink, black and white theme Rita, this is such a pretty card with the crushed ribbon bow and swirls. I am sure this will be a firm favourite with the recipient.
It's wet, chilly and miserable here in the south of England, not a nice day to be out at all, so more crafting time for me then lol.

The sun is shining but there is a nip in the air.
Oh this is super stylish and brimming with elegance. The swirls add such lovely movement and topped with that glorious bow, this is a very special creation.

Rita your card is gorgeous just right for a 21 year old. Everyone is saying it's wet and miserable at home it looks like we are going to have a lovely cold crisp day here, temp did drop last night to around -3 but it's so dry it's lovely. I would love it if we got this type of cold at home.

Beautiful day here till about 3pm had a shower but that was all. Did not brighten up again unfortunately.

South Carolina is sunny, a bit of a coolish breeze that foretells Fall is on the way. We just sat on the front porch, enjoying just a tiny bit of the color coming into our small maple tree. Lawn is starting to dry back as well. Your pink & white card is so lovely, and the black trims make the feminine colors just absolutely pop. Your young recipient will be over the moon with this beautiful & bling-y card.. So frilly & a perfect way to celebrate such a special birthday. TFS & Hugs
