Gift Box ( 2 ) and a Bag

Hello Folks, and I hope that all of you are keeping safe.  Terrible destruction down south and I hope that none of you were involved.  We did have gale force winds last night ,but nothing compared to the pictures on this mornings news. .
Just a quick post to let you see my second gift box that I tweaked in a few places, mainly the lid of the box.  I did enjoy the challenge, even though it took me forever to work it out.  My decoration was made because I rather liked the colour of the netting that was from Garlic ( I think ). So I made some flowers and used Aged Mahogany to colour them and it looked perfect.

This morning I found time to make a little gift bag, perfect size for little treats.  The tutorial was done  by my lovely friend Astrid and worked out so beautifully.   Thank-You Astrid.  I also attended the surgery to-day as the Dr wanted to have some blood tests done and I also had my flu jab at the same time.  Thanks for looking at my projects and listening to my ramblings.  Keep safe and Well and look after yourselves. x

Great little treat bag too.
Hope the blood results come back with good news. I'm off for my diabetic review on Wednesday, and I'll be getting my fingers whacked. Keep well, hugs kate x

Rita
What a treat that box is with the matching netting fabric and your beautiful, beautiful flowers then of course that lovely, nostalgic gift bag following the lovely Astrid's tutorial.
Lovely to see you managing to create despite being under the weather.
Good luck with the blood tests.

Another stunning box Rita and I love the use of that netting!! The flowers are gorgeous too!

We were lucky and escaped the storm almost altogether. It was a wee bit windy, but nothing out of the ordinary.... Hope you are feeling better and have a great week!

Two fabulous projects Rita. The netting looks wonderful. We were very lucky with the weather. Torrential rain and gales but very little damage fortunately. Some large branches off the trees and that was about it. Tragic about the loss of life but I guess it could have been much worse. Hope you are feeling better. Hugs. Christine xx!

I can see you are now in command of those boxes as your 2nd one is gorgeous too! Loved the colors on this one...yet another one that belongs on a ladies' dressing table. So lovely & elegant. So glad to hear no wind damage where you are. What I've read on the internet news sounds pretty awful. Hope none of our blog buddies had damages and are all safe. TFS & Hugs.
